BANGLA WEEK

The 4^TH day of the Bangla Week started with a festive note at the Uttara Junior Section of ITHS. Laughter, colours and fun was in the air, as students across all the sections from KG 1 to Class 5 showed up at the school premises dressed up in traditional Bengali attire, while their teachers joined in the fiesta in colourful, traditional sarees and punjabis. Indeed it was sight worth for the tender eyes, when the students and teachers gathered under one roof at the Food Carnival, especially held by the class five students, to commemorate the Bangla Week. Participating students at the food carnival offered traditional Bengali cuisine for sale at their respective stalls. The Bangla Week indubitably a great initiative taken up by the Management to instigate the values of our Mother Tongue and the sentiments it manifests to the nation.
