Bangladesh may be small among the geographically dominating countries surrounding it; its soul is mightier and has grown stronger with every passing year since the time of the liberation war in 1971. The grueling war lasted for long months between millions of commoners and West Pakistan and saw a bloody ending that left the country victorious but in desolation. Since then the people of this nation have demonstrated momentous progress in every developmental sector. And every year, to celebrate the triumph that was brought to us on the 16th of December, 1971, International Turkish Hope School celebrates the Victory Day with fervor.
On December 10, 2016 ITHS Uttara Junior Section organized the Annual Victory Day program to commemorate the special occasion. The auditorium in the Uttara Main Campus was packed as over 500 guests made it to the program to witness a wide range of performances that included dances, poems, songs, and a drama. The event was also attended by our Honorable Chairman, Principal, Vice-Principal, Head of Section, distinguished guests, parents, and students.
