ITHS preschool and junior section pays tribute to the first Bengali Noble Laureate and polymath, Robindronath Tagore, as a remembrance of the poet’s birth anniversary. On the morning of 7 May, students and teachers gathered during the usual assembly session and reminiscenced the works of the great Bengali poet, who has penned down the beautiful National Anthem of Bangladesh and had immense contributions to Bengali Literature and music. The brief session ended on a beautiful note with the recitation of Tagore’s poem “Shonar Tori”.
