A week
long program was organized by ITHS to raise awareness on the issues of
bullying. On the first day of the Anti-bullying Week which was Sunday, November
12, 2017, a short presentation was held during the morning assembly to highlight
what bullying is and how it could be stopped. Over the next five days students
and teachers focused on the concept of physical bullying, verbal bullying,
emotional bullying, social bullying, and cyber bullying, and worked on several
engaging activities during their Moral Values and Public Speaking classes. This
particular initiative had an extraordinary impact on students as they were seen
reminding each other about their actions and being cautious about their
behavior. On the last day of the Anti-bullying week, students took part in a
rally after their morning assembly where posters and banners were on display
and chants of “Be a buddy, not a bully” were in the air.
