Commemoration for Marie Curie On November 7, 2017 a brief program was held for the commemoration of one of the most renowned female scientists of the 20th century, Marie Skłodowska Curie. During the morning assembly, students were taken to the Junior Section Auditorium where they learned about Marie Curie’s life, her education and achievements, and most importantly the major scientific discoveries she made.
