Science Fair, 2016 “The science of today is the technology of tomorrow.” – Edward Teller Attending this year’s Science Fair that was organized by the International Turkish Hope School, Uttara Junior Section cemented the realization that this nation truly holds some potential future scientific minds. The annual event was held on the 3rd of December, 2016 in the ITHS Main Campus Indoor Basketball Hall. Over 200 students from Grade 1 to 5 worked in groups to demonstrate their passion for science through the execution of around 150 projects. The projects on display covered both the theoretical and applied field of science. Eco Cooler, 3D Hologram, Water Powered Generator, A Working Model of an ATM, Steam Power Generator, Air Cooler, Home-made Vacuum Cleaner, Electromagnetic Train, Germination, Homopolar Motor, Homemade Compass etc. were among the many projects that were on exhibition. The students looked elated and confident as they presented their hard work to the Honourable Chairman of International Turkish Hope School, Mr. Bedrettin Suata, our supportive parents & guests, and of course, the judges. Events of such grandeur help students utilize not only the knowledge they have accumulated, but also develop their communicative and presentation skills which are very essential for their future endeavours.
